Raveena Tandon Allegedly Attacked in Bandra After Being Accused of Rash Driving

Raveena Tandon, the seasoned Bollywood actress, found herself in the eye of a storm recently. Known for her illustrious career and devoted fan base, she faced a tumultuous situation in Mumbai’s Bandra after being accused of rash driving and assaulting three individuals.

Late one Saturday night, Raveena’s driver allegedly hit three people near Carter Road, close to Rizvi College. The victims claimed that the actress herself stepped out of the vehicle and physically assaulted them. A viral video captured the chaotic scene, with Raveena surrounded by angry locals and victims.

In the video, dressed in white, Raveena can be seen defending herself. She implores the onlookers not to record videos or harm anyone. Amid the chaos, she pleads, “Don’t push. Please don’t hit me.” The crowd, fueled by anger, shouts, “Maaro isko” (Hit her).

A man named Mohammed, a Bandra resident, narrated the incident on camera. According to him, Raveena’s driver ran over his mother while they were passing by her home. When confronted, the driver allegedly assaulted Mohammed’s niece and mother. Raveena, seemingly inebriated, emerged from the car to defend her driver and ended up hitting Mohammed’s mother, causing serious head injuries.

Mohammed waited at the Khar Police Station for four hours, hoping for an FIR against the actress. However, the police advised settling the matter outside the station. Frustrated and seeking justice, Mohammed declared, “My mother has been assaulted, and I demand justice.”

As the controversy unfolds, Raveena has yet to issue an official statement. The incident highlights the complexities of fame, responsibility, and the consequences of actions.
